Why VARNIKAAR Exists
VARNIKAAR was born from a simple yet powerful idea that premium clothing should not come at an excessive price, and natural fabrics should be accessible to modern Indian consumers.
After years of observing international fashion and fabric quality across Europe, we realised Indian customers deserved the same level of craftsmanship, comfort and refinement without luxury markups.
Our goal is to create garments that feel luxurious, breathable and timeless - using natural and sustainable fabrics that are made for Indian weather and everyday sophistication.
Meet The Founders
Two professionals from global backgrounds brought together by a shared vision — to build an Indian brand rooted in quality, natural fabrics and understated luxury.
Nitin Dahiya
Co-Founder
After spending over 15 years across Europe — including Switzerland, Belgium and Germany — working as an IT consultant, Nitin developed a deep appreciation for refined European aesthetics, fabric quality and minimalist fashion.
Returning to India, he set out to build a brand that could bring the same global quality standards to Indian consumers through thoughtfully designed and natural fabric garments.
Gagan Sawhney
Co-Founder
A qualified Actuary and FRM, Gagan studied at the University of Southampton and built his career with a leading European insurance company.
With strong analytical insight and a passion for quality products, he co-founded VARNIKAAR to create a brand that blends global standards, sustainability and accessible luxury for modern Indian men.

Derived from Sanskrit, VARNIKAAR means “Creator of Color.”
